Our story
Tyche-Services was founded by a team of first responders with decades of combined experience in EMS, fire service, and hospital emergency care. Every one of them has been the person walking into the room when a certification mattered — and has seen how easily the proof of that training gets lost, expired, or left in a car when it's needed most.
That firsthand experience is why the company runs two related businesses: Ascendent CPR, an in-person American Heart Association Training Site, and MedCert Pro, a mobile app for managing medical certifications. One teaches the skill; the other makes sure the proof of it survives past the day of class.
What we run
Ascendent CPR operates as an AHA Training Site, teaching BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses to individuals, healthcare workers, and organizations across Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
MedCert Pro is a companion mobile app, available on iOS and Android, built to store AHA cards and other medical certifications and flag renewal dates before they lapse.

Ascendent CPR's instructors and Tyche-Services' leadership aren't career trainers reading from a manual — they're current and former paramedics, firefighters, and ER staff who have used these exact skills under real pressure. That's the standard every course and every feature gets held to: would this actually help someone in the field, or is it just paperwork?
Why the name
Tyche is the Greek goddess of fortune and prosperity, traditionally shown with a ship's rudder, a cornucopia, and a mural crown shaped like city walls — she steers luck, brings abundance, and watches over the city she protects. It's a fitting namesake for a company built on one idea: fortune favors the ready.
